This New Year, Roketsu presents a special Kaiseki menu inspired by the traditions of Osechi-ryōri—symbolic dishes served from New Year’s Day til the first week of January in Japan to celebrate health, prosperity, and renewal. Carefully prepared to honor the season, each element reflects the essence of Japanese New Year traditions.
Guided by the principles of Washoku, Chef Daisuke Hayashi’s new year tasting menu showcases the harmony of seasonal ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Highlights include the elegant Hassun, evoking the beauty of winter, and the comforting Shiizakana: Sake-kasu Hot Pot, perfect for the colder months.
